Salam Nafsy
A mental wellness platform that makes reaching out for psychological support feel as ordinary and unintimidating as any other kind of care.
Overview
Salam Nafsy is a mental wellness platform built around a single idea: getting psychological support should feel calm, private, and simple. The product pairs people with licensed therapists and self guided tools inside one space, from browsing specialists and booking a session to holding a confidential conversation and tracking how you feel over time. Every screen is shaped to lower the emotional cost of that first step, trading clinical coldness for a warm, reassuring tone so that asking for help reads as a normal act of self care rather than a crisis.
The Problem
In the region, seeking mental health support still carries real friction, both practical and emotional, finding a qualified Arabic-speaking therapist is slow and opaque, and the few existing options feel clinical, impersonal, or hard to trust with something this private. People who genuinely want help often stall at the very first step because the path forward is unclear and the experience feels intimidating. The goal was to design an experience that removes that hesitation, making support easy to find, safe to start, and gentle enough that reaching out no longer feels like a leap.
